A note from the PTAC Advancement Committee Chair
In the spirit of standardizing and simplifying the advancement processes within the Pathway to Adventure Council, the council advancement committee has an approved an Eagle application submission process. There is a specific document transmittal envelope for Eagle documentation submission. These are available at each service center.

HERE; please take a minute to review. In summary, the following is key:
Each service center will accept Eagle applications and support documents and forward to the LaGrange office, for verification.
ONLY the following documentation must be turned in. The receiving service center will check for the following:
- Completed Eagle Application with all checklist items verified (checklist found on transmittal envelope)
- Service project workbook with before and after photos
- Statement of life ambitions & positions held in community organizations (per application requirement #7) DO NOT SEND RECOMMENDATION LETTERS WITH THE APPLICATION.
- Application and supporting documents should be secured in the service center supplied Eagle Transmittal Envelope. Scout should review checklist on envelop prior to submission. Do not send project binder; this should remain with the unit.
*Be sure to make copies of ALL documentation prior to sending.
